The Innovative Leaders of Tomorrow, or as we know it, T.I.L.T. is a committee of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. The TILT committee was founded in the late summer months of 2005. The majority of members within the TILT committee are under the age of 40. However, older members can serve in the Business Mentor capacity because their influence and guidance is invaluable. There are three main focuses of TILT, expand your network base or sphere of influence, participate in functions or events that encourage professional growth and finally to engage in community outreach activities in an effort to make Montgomery County a better place to live and work. These common goals are truly entrenched within our mission statement – which is fostering an environment for young professionals in the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce to network, conduct community out reach programs and interact with community leaders. Although the reward is unique to the individual participant, as a whole we have a unified goal of being different, being heard and having fun.

TILT has an executive committee, steering committee, program committee, community outreach committee and finally a web site committee. The current executive positions are co- chairs Brennen Parker, Assistant Vice President with Rose and Kiernan, Inc and Andy Heck, General Manager of Alpin Haus. The Treasurer position is held by Greg Abbattisti of LCS&Z, LLP and the Secretary is Lizz Close, Inside Sales Manager for Quandts Food service. The steering committee represents 15-20 TILT members who participate at a higher level and have decision making input.

Current slate of programming includes mixers./ networking events with a progressive feel and Fishbowl luncheons where TILT members are seated with Chamber, business and political leaders and share their professional insight and humor- A truly intimate setting without the barriers of embarrassment or fear. In 2007 we are looking to grow TILT with the quality participants business’s in the Montgomery County Chamber can provide. We also hope to interact on a grander more meaningful scale with the community and not for profit agency’s and make sure TILT can help where it is needed most - in the community.

We are a membership organization with dynamic, energized and conscious young professionals striving to make a difference in ourselves, our community and beyond Montgomery County.
